DIRECTORS

DIRECTORS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Head of the Camera, Lighting, & Art Departments - Coordinates filming with the Director and translates the creative vision into camera, lighting hardware, and placement.

 

$1,500 / 10 hrs

CAMERA OPERATOR

Operates the camera and composes the shot. Responsible for what's where inside the frame. Works with the art dept, lighting, sound and art department to get the camera, talent and props in the right place at the right time.

 

$1,000 / 10 hrs

CAMERA ASSISTANT

Responsible for the technical and logistical operation of the camera systems as well as lens focus.

 

$700 / 10 hrs 

2ND CAMERA ASSISTANT

Manage and maintain all of the camera equipment inventory and logistics. Operates director and client video assist. Assists with focus and scene synch slating.

 

$650 / 10 hrs

DIT (MEDIA MANAGER)

Responsible for the capture and management of all video and sound data created on set for delivery to the post production facility.

 

$550 / 10 hrs

GAFFER

Head of the Lighting / Electrical Department - Coordinates lighting with the Director of Photography and translates the creative look and feel into lighting hardware and placement.

 

$750 / 10 hrs

KEY GRIP

Head of the Grip Department. Coordinates camera & lighting with the Director of Photography and Gaffer and engineers rigging to achieve the desired creative.

 

$650 / 10 hrs

BEST BOY ELECTRIC/grip

2nd of the Department. Manages human resources and equipment inventory. Manages power and equipment distribution. Acts as the department secretary.

 

$600 / 10 hrs

GRIP

Operators the grip, lighting and rigging equipment.

 

$550 / 10 hrs

MAKE-UP
